What is Keebitz?
Keebitz automates referral marketing. We help businesses get referred by their customers and reward them for their referrals.

What’s your traction been like thus far?
We already generate revenue and we are scaling our sales force right now, to keep the pace with the demand.

What do you know now that you wish you would have known when you started Keebitz?
We should have hired sales reps even before we went live, because they help us finetune our pitch and market entry strategy. It would have helped us to get bigger sooner.

What’s a hypothesis that you’ve had that has failed? And how did you respond?
We thought that direct sales would not work. Mostly only referrals. And actually we learnt that the market responds very positively to a direct sales approach, because it fits their needs. Now we responded by hiring sales reps and scaling our sales efforts.

How would you describe your company culture?
Determinated. Resilient. Willing to go the extra mile to service our customers

What’s your favorite startup in Seattle? (Besides your own!)
SEOmoz because I like inbound marketing. I believe that organic growth is the most solid and profitable way to grow for companies. Keebitz is also about inbound marketing and organic growth.

What’s your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?
Exploring new ways to optimize proven business processes.

What does the future hold for Keebitz?
Growth nationwide.
