What is 47 Degrees?

Our primary focus is iOS & Android app design and development. We work with a wide range of cliental from fresh startups to enterprise level corporations. We are designers and developers capable of providing full product development from inception to launch. Bright ideas and innovative products excite us.

Outside of consulting, our secondary focus is the Appsly Platform (http://apps.ly). A great business deserves a great mobile app. We looked back at some of our experiences while developing for iOS & Android, factored in some of the hurdles a company faces getting started with mobile apps, and created Appsly. Our first release is called Appsly Events created for the specific needs of event & conference organizers.

What’s your traction been like thus far?

Steady with occasional crazy wild bursts of speed.

What do you know now that you wish you would have known when you started 47 Degrees?

Success is what you make it to be. It’s ok to say no.

What’s your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?

Picking one from many: The freedom to work on projects that we want to work on.

If your company were an animal, what would it be and why?

A dog. If you stop by our Ballard office, you’ll see that our member-to-dog ratio is 1:1. Imagining ourselves as any other animal is impossible. Unless a dinosaurs is considered an animal…

If you were to take 47 Degrees on a date, where would it want to go?

Any one of the fantastic local micro breweries or distilleries inside Ballard, Fremont, or SODO.
