What’s your traction been like thus far?

We’ve experienced 200X growth year over year since the company’s inception 3+ years ago.

What do you know now that you wish you would have known when you started 3 Howls?

How marketing dependent Seattle is.

What’s a hypothesis that you’ve had that has failed? And how did you respond?

I started a NW based blending company. It’s sales are ok but not great. I’m probably going to phase it out in favor of our craft label.

What’s your favorite startup in Seattle? (Besides your own!)

What’s your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?

Our location in Seattle offers us a unique set of talented and focused individuals eager to contribute to our ecosystem. But we have many startup friends “and family” in the Valley, and enjoy the serendipitous nature of conversations and cross-pollination that occurs as a result. In some sense, we have the best of both worlds.

Seahawks

If your company were an animal, what would it be and why?

Wolf…. 3 Howls Distillery’s name is based off of a mythological Scottish wolf called the Cu-Sith.

If you were to take your company on a date, where would it want to go?

Isla, Scotland!
